Tenzing Search are recruiting for a FP&A Manager, to be based in London, our client is looking to add in this additional headcount on a Permanent basis. Our client is a retail business, they operate across several countries and manage multiple entities, but the majority of their focus is in the UK. This role reports directly into the Head of Commercial Finance, as well as liaising with other C-Suite stakeholders in the business.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and manage annual budgets and forecasts for the various business units and consolidate across the group.
  • Liaise with senior leadership and key stakeholders across the business.
  • Create financial reports and BI around competitor analysis, market trends and other ROI internally.
  • Dive deeply into financial data to become a subject matter expert to provide additional insights.
  • Create and oversee the financial models around growth, performance and scenario modelling.
  • Analysis around past, current and future trends to provide variance analysis and commentary.
  • Create and present board presentations, as well as any other investment collateral.
  • Evaluate new and existing projects, investments and assets to assess their viability and the impact they will have on productivity or profitability.
  • Support on corporate initiatives and continual improvement projects.
  • Management of a small team of analysts, previous exposure to coaching and mentoring essential.

 

Required Skills and experience

  • Ideally the successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant – ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CFA.
  • The candidate must have eligibility to work in the UK.
  • The candidate must be able to work in the office on a Hybrid basis.
  • The candidate must be able to work in London.
  • The successful candidate will have strong a commercial acumen and ideally have worked within a retail environment, although not essential.
  • Strong communication and leadership traits.
  • Must have previously managed staff before.
  • Strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint are essential.
  • Must have previously held an FP&A role.
