I am proud to announce that I am the co-creator of Women Who Walk, alongside @sophiecurthoys. We have created a group, for Women who like to walk and plan to arrange meet-ups every fortnight in St Albans. Everyone welcome, no need to book, you can just turn up and join in.
On Sunday 10th October we had our first Women Who Walk meet up, Sophie Curthoys and I were blown away by the turnout. We had between 80-100 women turn up and join us on our first walk.
Some people came solo, some in small groups but the best part was no-one was walking on their own. There was such an amazing energy and everyone was made to feel welcome.
People stopped us in the park to ask what we were doing and how they could join in! The answer is join up to the newsletter at womenwhowalk.co.uk or on Instagram under @womenwho_walk
Our next walk is 1st October, based on the response and messages, we estimate a larger turn out than last time, we would love to see more people there.

Last week we were on the local radio – MIX 92.6 – Hertfordshire’s Radio Station, Thanks to Elly who came along and chatted to the women in the group about why they came and how much they felt it was needed in the community.
Watch this space but excited to see our community grow and looking forward to identifying other locations to expand the community to at some stage too.
